U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1, Guam Detachment, performs the first rock blast of their deployment at the Orote Point rock quarry on board Naval Base Guam. NMCB-1 is currently deployed to several locations in the Middle East, Afghanistan and Micronesia providing responsive military construction support to U.S. military operations.
