Sgt. Matthew Gengenbach (Left) a #91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic from North East, Maryland and Sgt. Matthew Choy (Right) a #91D Tactical Power Generation Specialist from Torrance, California are both assigned to 18th Medical Command out of Ft. Shafter, HI and have been selected for the first #PacificKnights #SoldiersSpotlight. These two #Soldiers have been in high gear for the past month in prep for the unit’s Deployment Readiness Exercise (#DRE) where the unit will have to use nearly all vehicles and trailered Improved Environmental Control Units (IEPU). The repairs and maintenance required to get all of the heavy duty equipment operational for a field exercise was daunting and yet these two Soldiers tackled the task without fail. For this 18 Medical Command would like to highlight their fantastic work.
