On Oct. 13, 2021, the Association of the United States Army, during its annual meeting, hosted a “Contemporary Military Forum” panel on lessons learned on the Army’s response during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lt. Gen. R. Scott Dingle, Surgeon General of the Army and Commander, Army Medical Command discussed the adaptability of the Total Army Medical Force; the combined team efforts of COMPO 1, 2, and 3 medical personnel; and the teamwork, leadership, and cooperation across the entire DOD that helped to make the medical response a success (photo courtesy Army staff).
