Master Sgt. Neal Crotzer, assigned to the 117th Maintenance Squadron, is the first airman in the Alabama National Guard to be presented an awarded payout in the Alabama National Guard Joint Enlistment Enhancement Program (JEEP) at Sumpter Smith JNGB, Alabama, Sept. 15, 2021. Chief Warrant Officer 2 Joseph “Scott” Knight, 22nd Recruiting and Retention Battalion, special projects officer, presented the check to Crotzer. JEEP is an executive order signed by Governor Kay Ivey that provides a $500 incentive to Soldiers, Airmen and retirees to provide leads to recruiters for possible enlistments.
