STS-87 Mission Specialists Winston Scott and Takao Doi conduct ORU translation device (OTD) crane evaluations (DTO 671) and Autonomous EVA Robotic (AER) camera (AERCam) Sprint (RME 1323) during the second Extravehicular Activity (EVA) of the mission. Doi and Scott set up the OTD crane on the port sill (028-31). Doi, standing on a port sill mounted foot restraint, controls the motions of the OTD crane (032-33). Free-flying AERCam/Sprint over the Earth limb and southern Madagascar with the shuttle tail and remote manipulator system (RMS) arm visible (034-39).
