Meagan Parker, Glenna Miller and Graham McConnell are pictured outside Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division headquarters. Parker, left, is the Post Intercept Debris Simulation (PIDS) Program’s technical lead. McConnell is the technical lead for the Damaged State Modeling of a Post Intercept Threat Program, also known as Damaged States. Miller is the program manager for both programs. PIDS is designed to provide Department of Defense testbeds with a representation of post-intercept debris for specific missile engagements. The Damaged States Program endeavors to provide the Navy with a new capability to evaluate true weapon system effectiveness during every engagement scenario.
