U.S. Army Spc. 53rd BSB is currently in Albania conducting their annual training with Albanias during DEFENDER-Europe 21.
“We are trying to improve our relations with our foreign nations and get some good training in with the Albanians,” said Denham-Nelson.
Denham-Nelson has been in the army for 2 years and this is her first time overseas as well as conducting training with partnering nations and allies.
Denham-Nelson said, “It’s been really cool being here and I am glad that I got to come to this country and experience it with my unit.”
