Monica Hish, a combat medic from 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), and a native of San Diego, California, works as a vaccinator at the state-run, federally-supported Wolstein Community Vaccination Center (CVC) in Cleveland, May 20, 2021. Hish’s daily duties at the Wolstein Center consist of administering the covid vaccine to local community members. “I love working with people,” said Hish. “Helping them, talking to them, just trying to figure out how to make their life a little bit easier every single day.” U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
