YOKOSUKA, Japan - Commander, Submarine Group 7 (CSG 7) named Electronics Technician 2nd Class Brandon Holland, a Seattle native, the Junior Sailor of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2021.
Holland is the lead Electronics Technician at CSG 7, which is based in Yokosuka, Japan.
Holland’s superior performance of his duties has set the standard for his peers. His outstanding professional performance and total dedication to duty reflected great credit upon himself and are in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service. “It was a really proud moment for me to be named Junior Sailor of the Quarter and recognized for the work that I do.” said Holland.
Submarine Group 7 is comprised of submarines deployed to the Western Pacific and a permanent, forward-deployed fleet including the submarine tenders USS Frank Cable and USS Emory S.
