Henry Knox, Chief of the Continental Army Artillery, lived in the house while commanding the Pluckemin Artillery Cantonment during the winter of 1778-1779. The house, which is located at 3055 River Road Park, is the only surviving building associated with the Cantonment, America’s first military academy.
