Army 2nd Lt. She is originally from Belvedere, Ill., a small town only an hour south of where she is currently assigned in Wisconsin. Wise is learning a lot during her first real world mission including the logistics of a large scale operation. “I’ve honestly found it pretty interesting kind of how this is run and how well it has been run”, she says. “This is a massive operation and I feel like for the most part it runs fairly smoothly most of the time.” U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
