    Federal Vaccine Response

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Benjamin Clifton, a Charlotte, North Carolina, native and medical technician with the 60th Air Mobility Wing, stationed at Travis Air Force Base, California, assigned to 2nd Detachment, 64th Air Expeditionary Group, administers a vaccine to a local community member at the state-led, federally-supported Community Vaccination Center in Gary, Indiana, April 7, 2021. The newly opened CVC has support for both drive-up and walk-in appointments and will vaccinate up to 3,000 local community members a day. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
