Assal Ravandi, an automated logistics specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Bn., 7th Inf. Regt., Aug. 30, in a classroom on Fort Stewart, Ga. The vocabulary competition was part of a presentation the Soldiers created for battalion leadership to show their grasp of the Dari language after having spent five weeks in an intensive language training program created by Ravandi, a native Dari speaker.
