FORT BENNING, Ga. – Capt. Patrick Watts (standing), a member of the training cadre of Fort Benning's Maneuver Captain's Career Course (MCCC), leads his students April 1 here in a discussion on the planning of combat operations. MCCC is one of numerous courses through which Fort Benning's U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence trains leaders for the maneuver force. It is also one of the courses that now take part in a classroom discussion of the sexual assault and other issues an independent review panel found last year at Fort Hood, Texas. Various components of MCoE have begun conducting the discussions in their professional military education classes. Watts has thus far led several Fort Hood-related discussions with groups of his students.
