U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Sean Bernabe, the senior mission commander of Fort Bliss and the 1st Armored Division, welcomes some of the division's 2nd Brigade Combat Team soldiers returning from a Middle Eastern deployment to Fort Bliss, March 15. The soldiers had been overseas for more than six months, and had been entrusted with providing stability to the region through their forward presence and vigilance. Joining Maj. Gen. Bernabe in welcoming the soldiers home was Division Command Sergeant Major Michael Williams.
