(March 4, 2021) Navy Diver 1st Class Dan Card, left, assists Naval Education and Training Command Force Master Chief Matthew Harris, center, with a familiarization dive using a Kirby Morgan 37 surface-supplied dive system at the Aquatic Training Facility (ATF) at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center (NDSTC). After the dive, Center of EOD and Diving Command Master Chief Stephen Zentz presented Harris an honorary Deep Sea Diver certificate. The ATF is a 40-foot deep pool with an interchangeable depth to meet the needs of a particular dive class. NDSTC, located at Naval Support Activity Panama City, Florida, is the largest diving facility in the world and its instructors train more than 1,200 students annually.
