Lt. j.g. Kyle Coven, officer recruiter, enlist a new Sailor under the Health Services Collegiate Program (HSCP) using a phone video conference from the Navy Talent Acquisition Group New England headquarters in Boston, Feb. 11, 2021. HSCP is a scholarship program designed to provide financial incentives for students in designated health care professions to complete degree/certification requirements and get a commission in the Medical Corps (MC), Dental Corps (D.C.), or Medical Service Corps (MSC). This virtual oath of enlistment brings the Wethersfield, Connecticut health care student, Christopher Piccione, into the Navy as a Petty Officer 1st Class (E6) with pay and benefits while completing his physician assistant master's degree from the University of Bridgeport.
