Cheryl Perry, a native of Reynoldsburg, OH and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9473, served in the Women’s Auxiliary Army Corps (WAAC), which was once an auxiliary branch of the U.S. Army (later converted to WAC) from 1973 until it was disbanded in 1978. Her Army enlistment ended in 1979. Here, she continues to serve as a volunteer at her VFW post.
