Brink, radio technician, Repairable Management Company, 1st Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 15, 1st Marine Logistics Group, repairs a radio chip at his workshop aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., July 26. Brink, a Winston-Salem, N.C., native, will be awarded a Letter of Commendation and $1,000 from the Chief of Naval Operations for his work in the Gold Disk Program. Brink saves the Navy and Marine Corps thousands of dollars in repair costs.
