DAHLGREN, Va. (Sept. 21, 2020) - Navy scientist Tiffany Lower is pictured with her fellow scientist, Spencer Charney, at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). Lower mentors STEM-Student Employment Program (SSEP) interns at the command's Future Systems Software Development Branch. Charney interned with the branch while on breaks from college. Now he's a full-time NSWCDD scientist, thanks to what he calls a "seamless transition" after graduation. "I had no idea that I could have worked here before I graduated," said Lower. "SSEP is such a good opportunity. Interns are gaining immeasurable real world experience." (U.S. Navy photo/Released).
