Guardsmen from the 171st Air Refueling Wing hoist the tail of a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft back into its upright position from a fin fold, Sept. 14, 2020, in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. A fin fold process consists of folding the tail of an aircraft and repairing or replacing a damaged rudder or interior components. The 171st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron repair and reclamation shop is the first of three shops the Stratotanker will see before it can begin operational tests. Once operational tests are complete the Stratotanker will resume flying missions. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Tech. Sgt. Bryan Hoover)
