(Sept. 19, 2020) - Aviation Mechanic 2nd Class Christopher Maddox and Aviation Technician 3rd Class Tyler Thompson perform maintenance on an MH-60S Sea Hawk assigned to the “Sea Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 22 aboard the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Sioux City (LCS 11) during their planned maintenance availability (PMAV) onboard Naval Air Station Key West. Sioux City is deployed to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility to support Joint Interagency Task Force South's mission, which includes counter illicit drug trafficking in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
