200824-N-QV265-1085 YOKOSUKA, Japan (August 24, 2020) - Operations Specialist 3rd Class Uriel Ngah, from Newark, New Jersey, uses a wire brush to clean a brass fire hose nozzle aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). Sailors continuously conduct corrective and preventive maintenance to keep systems running smoothly and mission ready. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
