A view from the air traffic control tower of the empty flight line after Tropical Storm Isaias passed over the base, Aug. 4, 2020, at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. C-5M Super Galaxies and C-17A Globemaster IIIs were flown to other locations prior to the arrival of the storm. The base received 1.4 inches of rain and recorded wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour during the peak of the storm. At least one tornado was reported within five miles of the base.
