FORT LEE, VA. -- Maj. Michelle F. McDevitt, outgoing deputy director for the Quartermaster School’s Aerial Delivery and Field Services Department, poses during a recent parachute jump at Fort Pickett. The major was the first woman to serve in the position. “We are proud to say she is the first but certainly not the last,” said ADFSD Director Jason J. Hanifin.
