During the recent visit to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NASWI), the
Honorable Thomas McCaffery, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health
Affairs and Army Lt. Gen. Ronald Place, Director, Defense Health Agency, met
with NASWI leadership, toured Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor (NHCOH) and
visited NHCOH's community partner, WhidbeyHealth in Coupeville, Wa. At
WhidbeyHealth, military and civilian officials discussed present collaboration efforts and future collaboration opportunities.
