Lieutenant Col. Julian M. Tsukano becomes the commanding officer of Marine Detachment Fort Lee upon receipt of the organization’s colors June 19 from departing commander Lt. Col. Morina D. Foster as Sgt. Maj. Robert M. Moyer observes. Tsukano comes to Fort Lee from a previous assignment as current operations officer, Marine Forces South. Foster has been reassigned to Pennsylvania State University where she has been selected to a logistics fellowship.
