200623-N-TP834-1175 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 23, 2020) Lance Cpl. Caleb Cram, from South Portland, Maine, assigned to the Death Rattlers of Marine Strike Fighter Squadron (VMFA) 323, observes dual carrier operations with the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) from the hangar bay aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Dual carrier operations unify the tactical power of two individual Carrier Strike Groups (CSG), providing fleet commanders with an unmatched, unified credible combat force capable of operating indefinitely. The CSGs are on a scheduled deployments to the Indo-Pacific. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class John Philip Wagner, Jr./Released)
