200618-N-FA444-3200 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 18, 2020) - Yeoman 2nd Class Ricardo Zaldana, from Westbury, New York, and Yeoman 2nd Class Michael Rogers, from Port Orchard, Washington, pier through binoculars while standing Ship's Nautical or Otherwise Photographic Interpretation and Examination (SNOOPIE) Team lookout aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). SNOOPIE Team members gathers visual information and identify surface, subsurface and air contacts of interest. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
