POCA, W. Va. (May 7, 2020) The West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Poca warehouse serves as receiving, sorting and shipping point for distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE), medical supplies and food for area foodbanks throughout the state. From Poca, the supplies will be distributed to county emergency management offices. Since March 16, 2020, team of DHSEM employees and National Guard service members have bottled 5,000 gallons of hand sanitizer, received and inventoried more than 6.6 million pieces of personal PPE and distributed 3.1 million pieces of PPE to those who serve and protect the citizens of West Virginia.
