Soldiers of the Nevada Army National Guard receive medical supplies at a warehouse east of Sparks, Nevada, as part of the COVID-19 pandemic response in the Silver State. About 700 additional Nevada National Guard Soldiers and Airmen will enter the fight against COVID-19 this week, Gov. Steve Sisolak announced today. That brings the total to 800, the largest state activation in Nevada National Guard history.
