Coast Guard ends search for fisherman off Guanica, Puerto Rico

Coast Guard rescue crews ended the search for an overdue fisherman in waters south of Guanica, Puerto Rico Feb. 18, 2020. Still missing is Marcos Mattei Garcia, a 45 year-old man and resident of Guanica, after the 22-foot center console Robalo fishing boat he was using was found Feb. 19, 2020 on the rocks near Lajas, Puerto Rico with no one aboard. Coast Guard crews conducted 29 air and surface searches covering over 2,712 square nautical miles, more than half the size of Puerto Rico
