190731-N-DX868-1082 GULF OF TADJOURA (July 31, 2019) --- Sailors aboard a Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 1 patrol boat provide Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) for the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship, USNS Cesar Chavez (T-AKE-14) in the Gulf of Tadjoura. CRS-1 is forward-deployed with Combined Task Group 68.6 at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. The Coastal Riverine Force is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security operation in the coastal and inland waterways.
