PACIFIC OCEAN (Jan. 04, 2020) The Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Chancellorsville (CG 62) breaks away from the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) after escorting Lincoln through the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. Chancellorsville is forward-deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
