Sailors aboard guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82) help guide a Tomahawk cruise missile into place during ammunition onload on Sept. 19. Low winds and a calm sea state are two necessary elements for a safe onloading evolution. Lassen is forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, and is underway on deployment.
