Pfc. Raylynn Salcedo and Sgt. Ricardo Cabrera-Murphy provide over watch and secure the command Post Saber of the 4th Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment during the force-on-force portion of Dragoon Ready 20. The command post was hidden and camouflaged in the forest of Hohenfels Training Area undetected by the opposing forces. Dragoon Ready 20 is a 7th Army Training Command-led exercise that provides 2d Cavalry Regiment with the opportunity to enhance readiness, to certify in the NATO combat readiness evaluation and to conduct unified land operations, including a combination of offensive, defensive and stability missions. During the multinational combat training center rotation, 2d Cavalry Regiment worked with NATO allies, France and United Kingdom, in enhancing the ability to respond more effectively to regional crises and meet security needs.
