PEARL HARBOR, HI (13 November 2019) - Aerographer's Mate Third Class (AG3) Kain Enright of the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) embarked on the USS Halsey (DDG 97) for a one week underway. AG3 Enright trained the Navigation Department on taking observations, learned about shiphandling and navigation, and observed evolutions such as firing the 5-inch gun and supporting a Pacific Missile Range Facility exercise. The USS Halsey was underway for routine training and certification purposes in the Central Pacific.
