Emily Matson receives a certificate of recognition from a Marine recruiter from Recruiting Station Harrisburg for graduating the Battles Won Academy, at her high school, the George School, Oct. 23, 2019. Less than 100 students nation-wide attended the academy this past summer in Washington, D.C. The Battles Won Academy is designed to improve leadership skills and recognize high school student-athletes who were selected as Semper Fidelis All-Americans.
