(Oct. 28, 2019) Construction Electrician 1st Class Arndra Dangerfield Jr., from Dayton, Ohio, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3, uses a tablet to plot a flight path for a Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) equipped unmanned aerial system (UAS) during a training evolution in Camarillo, Calif. Seabees are exploring UAS sensor technology for use in engineering reconnaissance missions in expeditionary environments. Seabees are the expeditionary engineering and construction experts of the naval service.
