Staff Sgt. Steve Hood and Staff Sgt. Nathanial Klein prepare a Joint Direct-Attack Munitions to load on an A-10C at Al Asad. This was the first use of a JDAM on an A-10C in combat. Coalition aircraft flew 49 close air support missions for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
