Killeen, Texas ̶ Sgt. 1st Class Andrew Green, maintenance supervisor, 2-227, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, decisively took action to prevent a man from potentially committing suicide on Sept. 11, in Killeen, Texas. Green was one of several Fort Hood Soldiers who stopped when they noticed a person in need of help. September is national suicide prevention awareness month and Fort Hood Soldiers are being active.
