A soldier in camouflage uniform is operating what appears to be a self-propelled howitzer artillery system, likely an M109 Paladin or similar platform. Smoke is visible near the breech area, suggesting the weapon has recently been fired or is in the process of being reloaded. An artillery shell with visible yellow markings is visible in the foreground, and the soldier is handling a ramming or cleaning rod.
