Coast Guard aircrews medevac cruise ship passengers during two separate cases near Cordova, Alaska
A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak aircrew transport a cruise ship passenger from an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter to an awaiting Airlift Northwest Commercial Medevac crew in Cordova, Alaska, Aug. 31, 2019.
The 80-year-old man, reportedly experiencing stroke symptoms, was aboard the cruise ship Westerdam, 160 nautical miles southeast of Cordova, when District 17 command center personnel received the request for a medevac.
