U.S. Marine Cpl. Elijah T. Baldwin, a geospatial analyst with Marine Forces Reserve, 4th Marine Logistics Group, currently attached to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, uses the cheek to compass method during Corporals Course land navigation at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, July 14, 2019 . The compass-to-cheek technique is the most accurate for using the lensatic compass. The task force is conducting training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Central and South America.
