Australian Soldiers from the Royal Australian Regiment, position a RBS 70 man-portable air-defense system during a field training event of Exercise Talisman Saber 2019, at Shoalwater Bay Training Area, Queensland, Australia, July 8. as a part of Talisman Saber. The air defense team worked in conjunction with U.S. Army AH-64 Apaches, and with multiple U.S. Army and U.S. Marines High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems and other Australian ground forces to show how the combined joint forces communicate and maneuver together as a team. Talisman Saber is a bilateral combined Australian and United States exercise designed to train respective military services in planning and conducting Combined and Joint Task Force operations, and improve the combat readiness and interoperability between Australian and US forces.
