Diego Urena, 1106th Aviation Group, works on CH-47 Chinook helicopter cabin fittings that will be available as drill-to-fit items per specific Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Call (MEC) at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, June 26, 2019. Aviation maintainers are allowed to adjust their uniforms to adapt to the challenging environmental conditions as long as safety is not compromised. The 1106th Aviation Group, California Army National Guard, is organized as a theater aviation sustainment maintenance group, capable of providing depot level maintenance to U.S. Army aircraft, and is deployed Kuwait providing support across the Middle East.
