Lt. Col. John Henderson, commander of the 864th Engineer Battalion, looks on as retired Army Col. Mel Wohlman, a Vietnam era commander of the 864th, hangs an Iraq combat streamer onto the 617th Trailblazers' guidon. During a lunch-and-learn community outreach day, March 22, hosted by the 864th "Pacemakers," Henderson invited Wolman to hang the streamer, as a gesture of respect and camaraderie.
