The menu and recipes, as well as the ingredients needed to cook them, sit ready for nonappropriated fund chefs and cooks as part of the practical portion of the new Air Force Techniques of Healthy Cooking Course at the Culinary Institute of America San Antonio campus, June 5, 2019. Sixteen NAF employees from across the Air Force attended the course established by the Air Force Services Center, in partnership with the CIA San Antonio. The five-day course is designed to teach and demonstrate healthier ingredients, flavorful spicing and better cooking methods to deliver healthier menu choices at food service operations across installations, not just at dining facilities.
