Capt. Todd Wagner, commander, Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center (NMCPHC) (left) was relieved by Capt. Robert Hawkins, deputy commander, NMCPHC (right) on June 21, 2019. Vice Adm. Forrest Faison, Navy surgeon general and chief, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (center), presided over the change of command ceremony. NMCPHC is the Navy’s go-to resource for providing instrumental guidance on public health related issues with programs that directly impact the mission readiness of U.S. Navy and military personnel at home and around the globe.
