The U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron "Thunderbirds" perform a fly-over at the Air Force Academy graduation in Colorado Springs, Colorado, May 30, 2019. Shortly after the event, the Thunderbirds performed an aerial demonstration for the crowd and the newly promoted second lieutenants. Since 1953, the Thunderbirds team has served as America’s premier air demonstration squadron, entrusted with the vital mission to recruit, retain and inspire past, present and future Airmen.
